Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Turner Engineer who excels in precision machining and fluent in FANUC programming language to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with CNC machinery, a strong understanding of precision engineering principles, and the ability to program and operate FANUC-controlled machines, including Hardinge machines, to meet our manufacturing needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines with FANUC controllers, including Hardinge CNC machines, to produce precision components.

Program CNC machines using FANUC G-code to create parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Produce high level components that are of DKs demanding quality standards

Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality output while maintaining tight tolerances.

Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise machining processes and improve production efficiency.

Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards in all machining operations.

Support the continuous improvement of processes and assist with technical training of junior staff.
Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Engineer or CNC Programmer with expertise in FANUC programming.

Strong understanding of precision machining, CNC setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

Experience operating Hardinge CNC machines (lathes and/or mills) is highly desirable.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.

Experience with various CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.) and their operational procedures.

Solid understanding of machining techniques and tooling.

Knowledge of G-code programming and FANUC controllers.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or CNC machining is preferred.
